Cannabis Dispensary Holding Holiday Toy Drive for Kids in Need
Dispensary Holds First Annual Toy Drive, Receives 165 Toys on First Day

RICHMOND, CA – 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center is holding a toy drive to benefit children in need this holiday season. Members of the community who want to donate can bring a new, unwrapped toy to 7 Stars from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. 7 Stars is located at 3219 Pierce Street in Richmond. Members of the public can donate a new unwrapped toy and get a raffle ticket to win a stocking full of goodies. 7 Stars will be collecting toys until December 22.
The toy drive is off to a strong start, on the first day of the toy drive, an anonymous donor donated 165 Beanie Babies. The donation bin was nearly filled with the generous donation, and 7 Stars staff had to set up the second bin on the same day. The total value of the Beanie Babies is unknown, but 7 Stars is reaching out to the community in hopes that a collector will provide an estimated valuation, and to thank them for their generosity.
“We were surprised and delighted to see so many donations on the first day of the drive,” says Zee Handoush, Executive Director. “The Richmond community is so giving, and we’re trying to be a part of that by organizing this toy drive. It warms my heart to think of the kids opening up their new toys, and the joy the generosity of the community will bring them.”
