Owner of Mangosay Food Cart Sierra Young Created an Ongoing Partnership with 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center to Offer Mango Smoothies and Other Mango Foods

For immediate release: July 11, 2022

RICHMOND, CA – Local businesswoman Sierra Young recently partnered with 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center for a popup featuring her food cart, “Mangosay.” The menu varies day-to-day, but often includes mango sticky buns, mango turnovers, mango noodles, mango smoothies, mango parfait, and mango juice. She is currently working on a mango salsa option she hopes to offer in the future.

All of the mango, limes and strawberries are hand cut daily. Sierra spends about ten hours weekly cutting fresh produce. Her dishes are always made with fresh fruit and she doesn’t use frozen ingredients. Everything on the menu is vegan except the whipped cream, which can be substituted for non-dairy on request.

The next Mangosay popup is at 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center on September 2, 2022 from noon to 5:00 p.m. The address is 3219 Pierce Street in Richmond.

Sierra grew up in a small town in Georgia, and moved to Atlanta for journalism school. She later moved to Florida and switched from journalism to management, working her way up in the frozen confection industry for eight years. She moved to Oakland in 2020, working as a manager for a frozen yogurt store in Oakland. The pandemic caused the store to shut down, which prompted her to launch Mangosay food cart as a full-time business.

"I'm a supporter of the cannabis community and I love when dispensaries reach out and ask me to come set up for their customers and staff,” says Sierra Young, Owner of Mangosay. “It's definitely a win-win for their customers to enjoy goodies and mango treats."

“We’re always looking to host community partners like Mangosay at our dispensary. What’s good for the community is good for our business,” says Zee Handoush, Executive Director. “Sierra’s food cart is an ideal community partner. Our customers can purchase delicious and healthy mango smoothies, parfaits, and other treats, and Mangosay customers have an opportunity to learn about the cannabis products we offer.”
