7 Stars Holistic Healing Center Installs 100 Foot Wide Mural Facing Freeway

RICHMOND, CA – This August, 7 Stars Holistic Healing Center (7 Stars) installed a mural featuring ten foot high peace, love, and cannabis symbols as an expression of the mission of the dispensary. The dispensary hired Bay Area artist Guillaume Ollivier and LA artist Daniel Antelo to paint the mural, which faces the I-80 freeway and is most visible to eastbound drivers.

The mural is a triptych, featuring the universally known peace and love symbols, with the addition of an artistic interpretation of the California Department of Cannabis Control’s universal symbol for cannabis completing the design. The third symbol is included in the triptych for satirical effect, simultaneously poking fun at the absurdity of regulating a plant created by nature and embracing the need for consumer and environmental regulations on all industries—including but not limited to cannabis—that can be harmful to consumers and the environment if left unchecked. The three symbols in juxtaposition communicate the mission of 7 Stars clearly and succinctly—to spread peace and love, and to connect people to the healing powers of the cannabis plant.

“Celebrating this plant has always been part of our mission,” says Zee Handoush, Executive Director. “This mural, in addition to the Keep Hope Alive mural we installed in 2020, continues the legacy of advocacy and education that is central to the work we do.”

Photos of the mural are available for download via Google Drive.

7 Stars Holistic Healing center’s mission is to provide patients and the general public cannabis products that holistically address their symptoms and to give back to our community. For more information, please visit www.7starshhc.com
